The PE Investor Relations Conference
Refining the IR function to meet increasing expectations
8 December 2011, London

The competition for investors’ capital has been intensifying and with it the importance of investor relations has been steadily increasing. Many fund managers have put off fundraising waiting for a more favourable environment and a large number of funds are planning to come to market soon. Some will raise their funds quickly and easily, others will have a much harder time and a few are projected to fail. Having a good investor relations team will certainly help.
This, our third investor relations conference will feature some of the best and most experienced IR professionals and LPs discussing the most topical issues facing investor relations teams today. Organizing the IR function, fundraising, LP reporting, AGMs, fund terms and LP preferences will all be discussed in an informal and interactive environment.
“Good size, competent professionals and a healthy dose of realism”
Hans van Swaay, Partner, Lyrique
“I very much enjoyed the PE Investor Relations Conference. As an LP, it gave me a chance to voice my opinion and I also appreciated the networking opportunities. This was an event for all GPs, not just IR professionals.”
Oksana Tiedt, Investments, Swift Capital Partners

This is a sample of what people have said about our past IR conference:
“Investor relations and wider communication of each GP’s individual story is now recognised as a critical ingredient of that GP’s long-term success. The private equity community must communicate with all of its constituents, of which its investors are but one very important group. The 2009 PE Investor Relations Conference was a triumph of real interaction and added value. The conference is the right size to encourage debate and the right seniority to command meaningful insights and valuable experience.”
John Campbell, Senior Partner, Campbell Lutyens
"I found the PE Investor Relations Conference to be an excellent event. Its informal atmosphere was very refreshing and this really facilitated interaction between panellists and delegates. I am looking forward to next year's event."
Stephen Cavell, Senior Partner, Graphite Capital
"I thought the day excellent. The presentations and discussion were interesting and relevant, the contributions from ’veterans’ of the industry thought provoking and candid and all delivered in an informal, participative and lively atmosphere. Appropriate for fund raisers but also anyone who wants to get a proper understanding of the current issues, thinking and best practice in raising money."
Buchan Scott, Partner, Duke Street
